Born in Colville Washington in 1966 I have great memories of individuals early on who had a great effect on me contributing to my career choice as a professional photographer. Much outdoor travel throughout the west as a young man yielded a passion for pictures of places and experiences. I really enjoyed bringing back images of my travels and having them help me tell a story. In 1985 I enrolled at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA. After graduation I ended up in San Francisco assisting. Paying many dues and learning from real life experiences I graduated again from assisting to shooting and opened my own studio shooting advertising imagery. In February of 2000 I opened a digital studio for Gap Inc.’s Internet division. In September 2002 I moved my family to Sandpoint Idaho to work as a photographer for retailer Coldwater Creek where I am currently a photographer. I have a lovely, although occasionally irritable wife and three small, and occasionally wild children. Life in North Idaho couldn’t get any better.
